1 Giant Handful Fresh Organic Basil
1 Cup Raw Walnuts
1/4 Cup Cold Pressed Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 tsp Pink Sea Salt
1/2 Squeeze Lemon Juice + 1 tsp Lemon Zest
You can also add about 5 drops of drops of lemon essential
oil in replacement of lemon juice!
Place all of your ingredients in a food processor and blend until creamy smooth!
Perfect as a dip, spread, or topping for salads + veggie bowls!
I created this simple recipe because, 1.....I LOVE PESTO!! And 2, because most store bought pestos contain garlic and cheese. For those with sensitive tummies or on a Low FODMAP diet, this is the perfect little boost to enhance the flavor of any breakfast lunch or dinner!
