1 Cup Coconut Butter (you will end up melting)
2 tsp Peppermint Extract or 1 Drop Essential Oil
1/2 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil (you will end up melting)
In a double broiler, or in a glass bowl over a pot of hot water, melt the coconut butter down until creamy. Add your peppermint extract or any flavoring. You can also use 1 drop of peppermint essential oil.
You can use a mini muffin tin or these cute little silicon shapes!
Fill your mini muffin tins about 1/4 of the way full. Or, if using smaller little silicon molds, 1/2 way full.
Place in the freezer for about 10 until hard. In the meantime, melt down your coconut oil the same way that you did the coconut butter. Stir in your cacao powder until it's creamy like liquid chocolate.
Remove the sheet from the freezer and evenly distribute your chocolate over the hardened coconut butter. Sprinkle with a little sea salt and then place back in the freezer for another 10 min or so.
When they are nice and hard, pop them out and enjoy! You can keep in the freezer or in the fridge for the perfect, satisfying and guilt free dessert!
