This panel is usually done after we have looked at either a Standard or Advanced Panel and we need more information on what could be the source of the immune activation. In many cases I love these markers to rule in or rule out mold. C4a is a helpful marker for mold, C3a is helpful for Lyme, TGFB-1 is an immune activation markers, Immunoglobulins can help identify the source of the immune activation (food, environment, mold etc.) and homocysteine is an inflammatory marker in addition to those such as CRP that is included in the Standard and Advanced. This panel also has a full EBV profile to look at virus and underlying infections.
